Description

As a school counselor, you will be part of the central student health team consisting of school nurses, special educators, counselors, and school psychologists.

The mission of student health is to work preventively and health-promoting together with the principal and staff at the schools to develop good learning environments in a school for all our students.

Responsibilities

The tasks are based on the student's learning situation and involve psychosocial work at the individual, group, and organizational levels. This can occur through work in classes and groups, individual student conversations, parent meetings, or guidance for educators. You will work with the school's ongoing value-based work and may participate in the planning and implementation of educational initiatives in subject areas related to students' health, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and preferably a few years of experience as a counselor within schools, or with other experience working with children and youth. It is advantageous if you also have specialist training as a health and medical care counselor. It is important that you have the ability to build good relationships with students, parents, and staff. You should enjoy and easily collaborate, but also be able to work independently and take your own initiatives. You need to have a driver's license and access to your own car.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

Permanent employment at 100%. Start as soon as possible or by agreement.
